Millions of Stories...
A place for the geek in all of us.
Are you a LARPER? A LARP poser? I came to the realization that it was simply the next step for me.Live Action Role Play takes the everyday person into a realm of fantasy.People love it, they dress up like elves, magicians, dwarves-anything. When I was a little girl, I was a sorceress=like Willow. I waved my wand, did rain incantations-and just wanted to be that.Sadly, as an adult work overwhelms and my ideas about that soon faded. But,not any more!
Larping has rules. When you attend an event, you choose whether to be a story teller, a character that was already established or to participate as a general public. New people like you and me are advised to take it easy, and ask questions. Day camps and events are going on all the time. In fact, I recently was invited to one in Tolland.Definitely considering it, but I would have to have a costume first.
