#droughtlander is purgatory
If you haven't read the Outlander series by Diane Gabaldon, get out there and grab a copy or two or three. Actually, the series is quite large and she has a dedicated fanbase both new and old (pre-Starz and Starz). The books are great, the scenes are steamy, and the history is seriously vibrant. I am hooked, and have been actually since 1995 when I first read Outlander.
Season 3 Voyager is slated for a september air date
The late start date gives me time to read the Lord John series, and contemplate through posts and page what the filmmakers are going to be doing with the next season. Plus, there is Drums of Autumn season 4. (psst..another awesome book)
The story picks up like the book with Claire no longer in the 18th century, and with Frank her first husband. She struggles to live without Jaime. While Jaime fights at the Battle of Culloden, he doesn't die and instead lives on to struggle and yearn for Claire.
When Claire discovers that she might be able to go back to Jaime whom she thought dead for twenty years, she becomes excited. But, then struggles with going back. The new season is definitely going to be awesome, and I'm sooo excited.
Claire and her baby in season 3
Now they are in South Africa!
Wish I was there, and can't wait for #droughtlander to end. Oh well, I'll put on my Sassenach t-shirt, and read. #droughtlander, #outlanderfan.
